The Jungle

Dedicated January 30, 2007

season pass
The gym has seating for 600. Thanks to donations from many loyal and generous Lion Fans, every one of those is a comfortable stadium seat with back and arms!

Games, and other events, are broadcast through closed circuit on a giant TV screen above the court and two large flat screens in the lobby. Fans who can't make it to the games are able to watch them streamed live on the Internet. Check the district calendar for scheduled games and other events.

Five cameras follow the game action. Two provide a half-court view from top-row-center. "Through-the-backboard" views are available at each end of the floor. A fifth camera puts you in the middle of the action at floor level. Play-by-play announcer is Mr. Rick Mintz, the "Voice of the Lions".

The "Welcome to the Jungle" video, produced by Mr. Ford and Mrs. Parks, plays on the big screen as the Lions take the floor at the beginning of each game.     Play the video.

In addition to having some of the most advanced computer and broadcasting technology found in a public school gym in Oklahoma, the lobby also serves as a tornado safe room for the school and the community.
